Doing your job?

I called the lady from the independent living center of NY today to check to see if Kathy is actually doing her job and has filled out and sent in the section 8 application for an ny apartment yet. My independent living services worker had it on speaker phone and I just left her a message because I got her voice mail. I'm pretty sure that I've emailed her at least one time before to check on the application, but she must be a busy lady because she works for the city of New York housing assistance.. So, I didn't really expect the section 8 application but I was looking back at my "sent" emails and I did send her an email back in March (if I remember right), explaining that my independent living services worker and I had been looking for places to get section 8 applications for NY and my independent living services worker had claimed that I'd have difficulty just getting an application. Now if Kathy actually does her job. Speaking of which.. There's a girl sitting in the metro mobility bus trying to tell the driver when to put on the blinker. So.. I said outta reflex (because I have a difficult time biting my tongue), "I think he knows how to fuckin drive." Heh. Needless to say.. She hasn't said anything else.
